IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING and Five Chances to Hawaii

Hello and welcome to this week’s 5 links to 5 exciting and “real” sweepstakes by legit companies where you actually have a chance to win. Every post offers some tip as to how to do a better job and make your sweeps experience better and faster so you don’t have to spend so much time with your sweeps routine. And, every so often I will offer a tip on HOW TO WIN at Sweepstakes or IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING (and eventually compile all of them and put them into a book; please leave your comment after this post letting me know if you’d have any interest in such) and today I offer this “IMPROVE YOUR CHANCE FOR WINNING” tip:

Enter as Often as Allowed for the Sweepstakes.

Some sweepstakes allow you to enter multiple times; sometimes they allow this daily, or sometimes one time a day, etc. to get you back to their site. This may be a double edged sword because if a person can enter multiple times, so can others meaning that there are more people to compete with. Personally I don’t want to visit a site multiple times because I don’t want my sweeps experience to become “fulltime”. I enter a sweepstakes one time only and then sit back and wait for the phone to ring telling me that I’m the lucky winner. For those of my readers who prefer to enter as many times as possible per sweepstakes I offer one more tip. Copy the sweepstakes website address into a word document so you can open the document and click on the link to get you there faster and easier. If you have any comments about this I invite you to leave them after any post.

Now on with this week’s top five links.

Yours truly will be in Hawaii this winter doing some public speaking and generally having a good time, but I found a sweepstakes where anyone can get there; CLICKHERE to enter.

Man if we have a Northland Winter like we did last year, I don't think I could survive (I probably would; we northerners are a tough bunch). I think white sand will be better than white snow!

You’ve got until November 15th, to get in on this one. CLICK HERE. By the way, this is one of those in which you can play daily so create and use that Word document technique that I mentioned above.

Do you like Rock n Roll, remodeling and Hawaii? CLICK HERE

This Hawaiian Trip Sweeps ends December 5, CLICK HERE

Well, I guess I have Hawaii on the brain. Here’s another sweeps that can take you to a warmer place this winter, CLICK HERE. This one is put on by State Farm Insurance and when I completed the entry form, I got a message stating that I’m “ineligible to participate” and to read more, visit State Farm website, etc. But per my rule of doing things quick and easy, I just moved on. Hopefully you’ll have better luck.

I will offer one more sweeps this week, just in case you can not get into the last one. Here is a chance to win an Elk Hunt in Colorado. Now if you don’t hunt, check out this link out anyway, because there are more prizes too.

Well that’s it for this week and I wish you lots of luck; really!

GREETING CARDS:

Also if you happen to have a business where you send greeting cards to your customers and employees, I hope you’ll check out my huge selection of Holiday Designs at: www.holidaycardsite.com/terscott

IMPRINTED PROMOTIONAL ITEMS:

And if you use imprinted promotional items to promote your business (things like pens, calendars, mugs and apparel) when you visit www.myimprintrep.com/123order and mention you read this blog, I’ll give you free shipping on your first order. There’s also a real cool “virtual catalog” link there that opens a catalog that you can click and drag your computer mouse to actually turn the pages.

HANDWRITTEN LETTER FROM SANTA:

And finally, I offer a service that you probably have not seen for a long time, but it’s fun and it’s back. You can have us send a HANDWRITTEN Letter From Santa to someone you love. We use information that you give us to customize it to the person who will receive the letter, then both the letter and envelope are written by a real person (or elf if you prefer) stamped and mailed; very nice. We had one company buy one for every person on their sales force, someone else used this as a way to propose! Be creative! Those details are at: www.terscott.com/santa.

For now make it a great day.

Where Can I Win a Car? Right Here.

Today I will present 5 more sweepstakes that are easy to sign up for, that are fun and from real “legit” companies. First though I want to share a tip about getting all of these emails from these companies.

Some of you (and others who don’t bother with sweepstakes) don’t like to enter sweepstakes because they ask for you email. Well, we must remember that the intent of the advertisers is to get your contact information and “market” their brand to you. In exchange, you get a chance to win something, and people really do win.

TIP: Here’s what I do for my sweepstakes entries. I have a separate email address dedicated to just sweepstakes entries! Then, once a week (before I create Find Sweepstakes) I go to the email box and 1. Select a group of emails in the email “in” box (and believe me there is a lot of them), and 2. glance through the subject lines to see anything about “winning” or “you’ve won”, etc. If I see something that I should save, I de-select it. Then 3. I delete the grouping of emails. It usually takes about 3 or 4 groupings of emails to delete before my box is “clean”. I then read any emails that looked important before deleting them. Voila! I’m ready for the new week’s emails to come in.

This type of “housekeeping” is just part of this weekly ritual. I try to keep this simple, easy, fun and fast so my readers can do this one time a week and wait until the phone rings and someone tells me that I’ve won something!

Here’s the routine that you should follow and over time you will find yourself winning something; sometimes small things and sometimes large things, but you’ll never win anything unless you complete entries on a weekly basis. Don’t give up!

1. Clean out your email box using the above steps.
2. Read the weekly Find Sweepstakes blog (if you are not a follower by email, you should be so you won’t miss any published articles) and complete the 5 sweepstakes entries that I find for you.
3. Go about your life and when the phone call comes for you to collect your prize, rejoice!

That’s it. Now that you understand the system and commit to it, here are the 5 sweeps for this week!

That one was fast, and easy; I love it. Here’s the next:

What would your friends say if you told them you were going skiing in Japan? Well, it could happen here.

You might recall in an earlier post where I spoke about an article I wrote in a different blog about “expecting” to win (you can read it here if you’d like) http://secretrulesforattainment.blogspot.com/2014/10/how-can-i-win-million-dollars-expect-it.html . I wanted to bring this up because the two preceding sweepstakes are for trips outside the USA and would of course require you to have a passport, which takes a while to obtain. So, if you are “expecting” to win, you may consider going to your local post office and getting that passport so you’ll be ready!

People love cars, and winning cars is good, and when it’s a Camaro, it is so much better! Enter here. You’ll need a Facebook account for this one. (This one won’t count as Sweeps #4 because when I entered it, I was told that my email had already been entered; meaning that I’ve already told readers about this one. But, it you’ve not entered, do so, it expires very soon. Good luck!)

Win oil changes for the entire life of your car ownership… enter here.

Win a home. Enter here

Win a Kitchen Makeover, Enter Here.

I just spent 20 minutes of my life chasing websites for a Corvette Sweepstakes that was “bogus” or wasn’t working etc. This is what I do so you don’t have to. I only share links to sites for sweepstakes that are easy to enter; easy in and easy win. Hmmm, that sounded good; I think I’ll trademark that…

So, now you have this week’s 5 links to 5 great sweepstakes. It should only take you about 10 minutes or less to complete the entries and it took me about two hours to find them, research them, and see if they fit the criteria before telling you about them. I know you appreciate all of that.

See you next week. Enjoy and win at life!
Make it a great day!

PS. Some have asked me about the "99 cents" at the top of this blog. That's the price for a monthly subscription via Amazon. But, it's free to you if you "stumble upon" it and subscribe via the "follow by email" somewhere on this page. Smart!

Know of anyone who buys personalized greeting cards each year? Like us on Facebook and we'll donate 10% to a charity of your choice when you purchase an order of any size!

Win an awesome Les Paul Guitar; bet you've never seen one like this!

Today I want to encourage you to keep entering these sweepstakes and by doing so, eventually you will win something. It may take a while but I make it as fast and fun as possible! I do all of the research and if it’s easy to complete the form and the company is “legit” it becomes one of the 5 that I offer new each week. For instance, the Magazine Seventeen has a sweepstakes and you can Google it to find it if you want. But I am not including it because you pretty much have to subscribe to the magazine to enter. The sweeps I bring each week don’t require this kind of thing. Nothing against mag subscriptions or similar things, I just want the fast and easy sweeps for my readers!

TIP: Some sweepstakes offer you multiple chances to win; they want you to come back to their sites again and again. Personally I don’t do this. I enter once and that’s it, if I win they contact me via email or phone. If I don’t win, I never know and just march on to another sweepstake. But, if you would like to go back to these sites again and again until the time is over here’s what I would do.

Open a new Word (or similar software) document and paste in the url address that you’ve copied from the address bar when you are at the site. This way to get there faster, you open you Word document, click on the link, and you are there! No typing again and again. You can also type a few notes as to what the site or sweeps is about, etc. This little tip will work well with the first sweeps I’m sharing as you’ll watch several videos to get added chances to win. So, if you don’t have time to watch them all right away, you’ve got the links in a word document to just click on to get to the site when you have a few minutes. Once the sweeps entry time expires, just highlight the information and link to delete it.

OK, let’s get started on this week’s sweeps!

I like this one. You watch a few videos (hey, they’re advertising and deserve our time; we might even learn something) and then we have a chance to win a Ford pickup; it’s fun. Check it out here.

There next one is a trip to Alaska and requires you to log in via Facebook. Plus, again this is a site that you can return to and as of this writing, there are 45 days left to enter.  For me, I tried to enter via Facebook and it stated something about an “invalid user” so I moved on to the next (if the site doesn’t like me; I’m out of there).

Like this place on Facebook and enter for a chance to win a year of IAMS for your pet! Be sure to scroll down in the “rules” box, because at the very end you’ll need to check a box to state that you’ve read the rules. Also, you can enter this sweeps as often as you like.

Oh boy, I’m not getting married, but I saw this and entered anyway. Maybe I can give it away or something? It’s $50,000 if I win (or if you win; sorry). Go here

By the way, if you win and you don’t love guitars, you could give it away or sell it on eBay.

That’s it for today. See you next week. Tell your friends and good luck!

Win a Ford Mustang, and 4 other fun sweepstakes with tips for winning.

First time here, hey, hey! It’s about time! For my return readers I say: welcome back winner; because you are a “winner” even if you haven’t won anything yet (you will, just be diligent and return here and complete these 5 new entries that I supply each week!

I got to thinking that of course as time goes on, these links that I provide each week expire as these companies reward the winners and then other companies take their place and there is an endless stream of sweepstakes. So I was thinking that some readers may not look back at previous posts for that reason, but I want to remind those who don’t check back once in a while that they are missing out because I do offer tips in each week’s post. This week is no exception.

There are authors with articles and books on how to win sweepstakes and what they have to say is usually pretty good. But remember the philosophy of this blog is to offer 5 sites that have sweepstakes, regardless of what they are (let me know in the comments if you’d like me to offer any specific) as long as they are hassle free to do, fast and are put on by legitimate companies. Then you forget about them until they contact you and say you’ve won. In the meantime, you just keep setting your ship out so someday it will come back in to shore, carrying a small, medium or massive prize with it.

One such author states that we should highlight short entry periods. Again, I offer all time periods here (many times they are short just because I find the ones that are expiring soon). But this author means that you should find companies who are offering a sweepstakes that isn’t lasting for a long time because if the contest last a full year for example, more people will find it and you’ll have more competition than you would with a shorter duration for a sweeps put on by a company. But guess what, this may be true but the shorter time period type of sweeps usually don’t offer as big of a prize either. Plus, you are out there searching and trying to decide if you should or should not enter something based on “criteria” such as short or long entry periods; I say forget it. Number one, let us do the research but if you choose to do some on your own, don’t make this into work, it should be fun. So I don’t care if they have a short or long entry period, if the company is legit, I’ll offer it here. OK, now onto this week’s fun!
